About me:
Hello, my name is Allie. This year, starting in June, I'll be attending the
U.S. Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk Virginia. I plan on pursuing a
major in music education, but may later decide to switch to composition.
I also serve as a military clarinetist, pianist, and music arranger in the
249th National Army Band.
Interests:
I play clarinet, piano, valved brass, mallet percussion, battery
percussion, some auxiliary percussion (congas, bongos, woodblocks), violin,
and ukulele.
Fav music:
My favorite music is orchestral and symphonic band, but I also enjoy
techno, rave, house, jazz, funk, rock, among many others.
Sup, been a long time. I am about
to be stationed in Ft. Riley
Kansas.....I think I might be with
First Division (the big red one)
which would suck, cause that means
that I would be attached to an
infantry unit.
How are you doing? Is the army
working well for you? You like the
band. We have on out here, and I
have talked to a few people, and
they said that they like it,
considering they get free money for
college, housing, food...man. Love
all the stuff in the army, but hate
the fact that I have to live an a
dang barracks. Ah it's all cool
though.
