Random Thoughts Holy fuck Posted on: June 29, 2008, at 05:46:51am
17 years on Earth.
I can still remember our first computer, running Windows 3.1. It ran solitare THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST.
Moving from Edmonton when I was 6. Sad times those were.
Moving into my current home 4 or 5 years later.
The creation of the FFR thread on the Insomniac Games forum. It's safe to say that that thread changed my life.
Even with cake and friends, I look at the number 17, and realize the speed at which life is moving. I'm glad I stop every so often to smell the roses.

2 years on FFR.
I can still remember my one-hand days. My first AAA on Trip to the Moon. Songs like Straight to Video I would play all the time.
I remember when TGWP came out and thinking rebirth was my hero.
I remember getting SM for the first time and my first few files. Especially my Killer Queen "file".
Last year around this time, I started playing spread, and my scores went up after about a month.
Time flies, holy fuck
trumaestro's crap pack Posted on: May 31, 2008, at 03:40:22pm
Song: Smile Forever
Artist: Smiley ("remixed" by jmoneyh)
Comments: This is actually the second file I ever made. My first one was really terrible and I deleted it a while ago. I considered making a v2 to SF, but the song is just utter crap.

Song: Rasputin (long version)
Artist: Boney M.
Comments: The first sim in which I learned what the assist tick did. Still pretty bad. BPMs are stolen from anohter sim of a short version of the same song on the FFR Sim DB.

Song: Microsoft Ding
Artist: Microsoft
Comments: By far the hardest file I ever made before 2000 BPM.

Song: Radiant Eclipse
Artist: Avenged Sevenfold
Comments: I asked a friend what his favourite band was, this was the answer at the time, and was the only song I could download for free lol.

Song: K8107

Song: Happy Gang Bang! (v1)

Comments: Also made for flipsta's birthday. It had a funny name, so yeah.

Song: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Artist: Daft Punk
Comments: This is my most downloaded simfile, probably because of the popularity of Daft Punk. It's not that great, though. Was originally a joke.

Song: Six Variations on a Common Theme in D major (Op. 76)
Artist: Beethoven, I suppose
Comments: Probably one of the more boring things I've ever made. gfx by Professor Raine.

Song: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (v2)
Artist: Daft Punk
Comments: My second most downloaded simfile. I fixed some of the guitar and vocal that was off in the original. Still not that great.

Song: B.B. Basic
Artist: AKHT
Comments: The first song I made 3 different charts for. It's no B.B. Evolution, though.

Song: I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee)
Artist: Eiffel 65
Comments: Kind of a joke file. If you use the "note" noteskin or something like it, you'll see why it's at 512 BPM.

Song: Climax
Artist: Pory
Comments: Off everywhere, really. This is the second song that I used hands in, after Six Variations.
Upload: January 6, 2008
Song: Furinkazan (Hot Night Mix)
Artist: ASK
Comments: It's okay, just nothing overly amazing. First song that I put in Japanese characters into the song name.

Song: Cloud Control
Artist: Dimrain47
Comments: I originally sent this to FFR. It got rejected, so I fixed one thing that jimerax said was wrong and uploaded it.
Upload: February 4, 2008
Song: Turkish Rave
Artist: Haxor
Comments: I originally sent this to Keyboard Ultimix. The first version I sent was rejected and Kommisar did a dondon style review on it. I sent this version back and it still got rejected, so I tossed it onto the FFR Sim DB. gfx by Silvuh.

Song: Momentary Life
Artist: S.S.H.
Comments: Yes, I know this song has been stepped many times already. I didn't know that at the time, so yeah. This isn't that amazing, anyway.

Song: Big Boss
Artist: cornandbeans
Comments: I sent this to FFR, too. It was rejected and I didn't fix anything before I uploaded it.

Song: Run for the Hills
Artist: cornandbeans
Comments: I figured I'd toss in a kind of okay dump. This would be the best file in this "pack". Still, though, I've made better.
